2010 Halloween Pet Parade Photos

Thanks to everyone who came out for the 7th annual Tails in the City Halloween Pet Parade.  Over 200 dogs paraded from Tails in the City down Delaware to Washington Square Park for a costume contest with prizes, doggie agility from K9 University, and delicious $1 hot dogs from Downtown Dogs.  All of our contestants looked amazing!  The judges had a real tough time picking winners in all of the different categories. A special thank you to Bobbi Panter and Kathy Stevens for judging our event.  A good time was had by all and everyone left with a goodie bag filled with lots of special treats!  Proceeds from the event went to PAWS Chicago.  In case you missed the event, here are some video recaps as well as candid photos from our event.

Bark For Breast Cancer Charity Walk Photos

Thank You To Everyone Who Came Out To Walk With Us On October 17th! The First Annual Bark For Breast Cancer Charity Walk Was A Big Success.  Doggies Were Decked Out In Their Commemorative Pink Bandanas And Humans Were Proudly Sporting The Commemorative T-Shirt Designed Especially For This Event.  We Exceeded Our Target Fund Raising Goal And A Good Time Was Had By All. Congratulations To Lucy Levy For Raising The Most Money And Winning A Beautiful Gift Basket Filled With Goodies From Cosmedic Skin & Body Clinic and Tails in the City Pet Boutique.  A Very Special Thanks To Our Friends At Cosmedic Clinic For Organizing This Great Event.  We Can Hardly Wait To Do It Again Next Year!

Annual Canine Cruise - June 24th

Come aboard the Skyline Queen with your canine companion! Mercury, Chicago's Skyline Cruiseline kicks off their season with an annual Canine Cruise to benefit The Anti-Cruelty Society. Over 70 Chicagoland animal lovers and their dogs will enjoy treats and a refreshing architectural cruise.

Location: Mercury Cruiseline - Departing from its Riverside Gardens dock, lower level and southeast corner of the Michigan Avenue bridge and Wacker Drive (look for the blue awning).

Date: Thursday, June 24

Time: 6:30 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Cost: $35 per person

Angels With Tails - Michigan Avenue - June 13

Tails in the City pet boutique is proud to be a participant in the annual Angels With Tails event sponsored by PAWS Chicago.  Angels with Tails is Chicagoland’s premiere adoption event that brings together local businesses, people, shelters and pets in an effort to find families for many homeless pets. Enjoy Chicago’s Magnificent Mile on June 13th with 38 shelters/rescues and 63 participating businesses! Please come out on Sunday June 13th from 12:00 noon - 4:00 pm for this amazing animal adoption event.
