Santa Claus is coming to Tails in the City for 2 days only.

Halloween Pet Parade October 27th, 2019

You and your dog are invited to attend the 16th Annual Tails in the City Halloween Pet Parade!

• When: Sunday October 27th.  The parade kicks off in front of Tails in the City pet boutique at 11:00 am.
• Where: Meet at Tails in the City.  We will parade to Washington Square Park for our costume contest
• Why:  To benefit PAWS Chicago.  $15 admission to benefit PAWS Chicago.

Yappy Hour August 7th at Harry Caray's Navy Pier to Benefit Canine Companions for Independence

You and your dog are invited to join us on the lakefront patio at Harry Caray's Tavern, Navy Pier.  You'll learn how highly trained assistance dogs enhance the lives of people with disabilities.  You'll meet dogs from Canine Companions for Independence along with volunteer puppy raisers and and assistance dog team.  

All proceeds from the sale of our Howly Cow! cocktail will benefit Canine Companions to help them provide these spectacular dogs free of charge to children, adults, and veterans who have a disability.  This event is free and opent to the public.  Please RSVP to let us know you will be coming.

Haute Dog Chicago - A Doggy Runway Fashion Show To Benefit Canine Companions For Independence

Tails in the City pet boutique is proud to be a sponsor for the 2nd Annual Haute Dog Chicago runway doggy fashion show on September 14th at The Peninsula Chicago to benefit Canine Companions for Independence!  

HAUTE DOG | CHICAGO is a high-end fashion show featuring some of Chicago’s finest alongside their couture canines and Canine Companions dogs. Participants and dogs will be outfitted in the latest fall fashions from local boutiques. In addition to highlighting the upcoming trends on Michigan Avenue, you will enjoy delicious cocktails and hors d'ouvres on the terrace at The Peninsula Chicago.  In addition, the evening will also include a silent auction with a wide variety of items for everyone in attendance.  Don't miss this exciting event and help us raise money and awareness for Canine Companions for Independence.

Bark For Breast Cancer Charity Dog Walk 
On Sunday October 2nd.

The event begins at 11:00 am.
The route begins at CosMedic Clinic, goes to Washington Square Park, past Tails in the City pet boutique, then returns to CosMedic Clinic where the pups will enjoy a cupcake!  Prizes will be given to the dog who raises the most money and to the dog with the best pink costume.

Canine Companions for Independence® is proud to bring you the first HAUTE DOG | CHICAGO, a doggie runway fashion show that will showcase couture canines modeling the latest in doggy fashion from Tails in the City.  Tickets can be purchased here.

Held at the beautiful Peninsula Chicago, this event is sure to get every tail wagging.The festivities will begin at 6:00 pm with cocktail hour, hors d'oeuvres and a silent auction. Then sit back, relax and enjoy the show as you watch our couture canines give new meaning to the catwalk. We will wrap the night up with a dog-gone good dessert.

 You won't want to miss out on this howling good time! 

All proceeds from the event will go to help us continue to provide exceptional dogs for exceptional people®.

You & your dog are invited to join us on Sunday September 20, 2015 and walk in the 2nd annual 

Bark for Breast Cancer Research Charity Dog Walk!

When: Sunday, Sept. 20th from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm

Where: meet at CosMedic Clinic - 58 E. Walton St. Chicago, IL.  The walk will begin at CosMedic clinic, walk to Washington Square Park, stop at Tails in the City for a treat, and finish at CosMedic clinic to recap and award prizes.

Why: To raise money for breast cancer research. Money raised will go to the Lynn Sage Foundation.
